According to the Cyprus Legislation the employer is obliged to provide training to employees of all hierarchy levels. In most cases companies do not consider manager’ training a necessity.

The Health & Safety Programme implementation is the responsibility of the Employing Company and its representatives i.e. the managers and supervisors of all levels as well as the Internal Safey Services (ESYPP), the Safety Representatives and the Management Team. In order to be able to successfully fulfil their duties, line managers must be well educated in all aspects of a Health & Safety programme.
